WELCOME to the Methodist Border Friendship Commission, Comision Metodista Fronteriza del la Amistad (MBFC). THE PURPOSE of this Commission is to coordinate ministries in Southern Texas and Northern Mexico along the Rio Grande border. MBFC also works to develop new ministries as it identifies the emerging needs of the people of the Rio Grande border area. MBFC exists to promote friendship and fellowship, evangelism and mission, and to promote service to others as a clear response to the love of God, a love that knows no boundaries, no borders.
“The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ.”
